Mykhailo Mudryk's future at Chelsea is uncertain due to his underwhelming performance since joining. With new signings like Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix, and Pedro Neto, Mudryk is likely to be pushed down the pecking order. There is no guarantee he will see out the remaining seven years of his contract if his form doesn’t improve.

Mudryk was linked with a January transfer away from Chelsea, and his future remains very much in question this summer. Since joining Chelsea, Mudryk has managed just seven goals and four assists in 58 appearances amidst a string of poor performances. Now former Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino publicly stated on numerous occasions that the player must improve in a number of areas, even comparing him to a tennis player on one occasion in an attempt to highlight that he wasn’t a team player. Mudryk has a chance to impress this summer at Euro 2024 with Ukraine and get a new chance under new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.

Mykhailo Mudryk looked bright and the manner in which he took his first-half finish suggested that the €70 million player the Blues bought is in there somewhere.
