In response, Djenepo has involved a bailiff to claim his unpaid wages, leading to Antalyaspor excluding him from the first team. Standard Liège hoped that Antalyaspor would exercise the purchase option of 2 million euros, but due to these issues, they will not. Djenepo is expected to return to Standard Liège in the summer.
