Mousa Al-Tamari, one of the best players for Montpellier this season, attracted strong interest from Stade Rennais who are struggling this season and are in a phase of reconstruction. Musa Al-Taamari, an international Jordanian winger, has signed a three and a half season contract with Stade Rennais F.C. He previously played for Montpellier HSC and had a notable first season in Ligue 1. His performances this season were less impressive, with only 2 goals and 1 assist in 16 matches. Rennes, currently 15th in Ligue 1, aims to strengthen its offensive line with Al-Taamari's skills to avoid relegation.

The transfer fee is reported to be between 8 to 9 million euros, according to L'Equipe. Al-Tamari is expected to sign with Stade Rennais on Monday.
