Meanwhile, the French media outlet Media Sportif has noted that following Leicester's interest, Nantes has made the decision to sell the Egyptian player but is unwilling to part with him for a low transfer fee. Nantes, having previously paid Galatasaray a total of 6 million Euros for the loan fee and purchase option, is now demanding a 10 million Euro transfer fee for the striker's departure from the club.
L'Equipe reports that Marseille, which has started the season with a strong squad, is currently in discussions with Nantes regarding the cost of acquiring Mostafa Mohamed.
Mostafa Mohamed, who is currently playing for Nantes, has attracted significant interest from Saudi Arabian clubs. According to L'Equipe, an unnamed Saudi Arabian club recently offered 15 million Euros for Mostafa Mohamed, which he rejected as he is not interested in continuing his career in Saudi Arabia.
