Manchester City are reportedly very hopeful about re-signing Morgan Rogers, with Pep Guardiola said to be very fond of the Aston Villa star. City are keen on acquiring Rogers, who was once a part of City's academy. Sources have indicated that Guardiola is very fond of Rogers and is very hopeful about securing his transfer. Aston Villa, however, only recently extended the attacker's contract in November, raising his salary to an estimated £75,000 per week, and they are reluctant to let him go. It is believed that City would need to make a substantial offer to convince Villa to part with Rogers.
