Morgan Gibbs-White Transfer from Nottingham Forest to Arsenal
Team Talk reports that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Morgan Gibbs-White amid interest from other top clubs. Arsenal are interested in signing Morgan Gibbs-White. Arsenal are competing with Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur for his signature. Nottingham Forest do not want to sell him and are ready to open talks over a new contract. If Gibbs-White shows a desire to leave, Forest would want over £70 million for him.
Arsenal is showing interest in the potential transfer of Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. Despite Forest's reluctance to sell, Gibbs-White could potentially leave for an offer around €60m. Arsenal might consider him as an alternative to the slightly out-of-form Martin Odegaard.
Gibbs-White has been heavily linked with a summer move away from Forest, with Arsenal and Manchester United both emerging as possible destinations in recent weeks.
Nottingham Forest’s relegation fears have worsened during the international break as they have been docked four points for breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules. With the Premier League side walking a financial tightrope, they may be forced to offload a couple of sellable assets in the summer even if they stay up. Forest could arguably make the most money from Gibbs-white, who has shone for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side since completing his £35m move from Wolves in 2022. According to The Daily Star, Arsenal are ‘keeping tabs’ on Gibbs-White and they are ‘monitoring his availability with interest’. Mikel Arteta is already spoiled for choice in attacking areas but the Arsenal head coach ‘wants to reshape his ranks’ and it is suggested that Gibbs-White could ‘fill Emile Smith Rowe’s space’ in next season’s squad.
