Benfica is planning to buy the remaining 15% of Morato's pass that is still with São Paulo, the club from which Morato transferred to Benfica in 2019 for €7.5 million. The negotiation of these 15% of economic rights had been initiated over a year ago and was well on track, but the operation did not close.
