Mohamed Sankoh will not wear the VfB Stuttgart jersey this season. It was announced by the vice-champion on Wednesday that the 20-year-old attacker will be loaned to the Italian second division club Cosenza Calcio. Sankoh joined the Swabians in 2020 but has only made two Bundesliga appearances so far. In the last two seasons, he played on loan in the Netherlands: 2022/23 for Vitesse Arnhem, 23/24 for Heracles Almelo.

Mohamed Sankoh has no future in the squad of coach Sebastian Hoeneß. VfB Stuttgart would like to offload him this summer. The problem is his estimated salary of one million euros per year, which has deterred interested parties.
