Mohamed Salah Transfer from Liverpool to Al Ittihad

The Daily Mail reported that Salah is not tempted by a move to Saudi Arabia, despite prolonged interest from Al-Ittihad. Salah's reluctance is influenced by seeing his former teammate Sadio Mané being pushed out of Al-Nassr just a year after joining.

The Athletic explained that losing Mohamed Salah is a possibility. Liverpool refused an offer of approximately 180 million EUR from Al-Ittihad for Salah a year ago. Negotiations might take place in the coming months.

The hypothesis that Salah might move to Saudi Arabia remains after Liverpool rejected an offer of nearly 180 million euros from Al Ittihad a year ago. Salah renewed his contract in 2022, becoming the highest-paid player in Liverpool's history with over 21 million euros per year.

Mo Salah hinted at leaving Liverpool next year as his contract expires next summer. Despite a £200m bid and a £100m annual offer from Al-Ittihad, Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp refused to sell him. Salah, 32, fueled speculation by saying he wants to 'enjoy the last year' and will 'see what happens next year.'

Liverpool already rejected an offer of 150 million GBP for Salah from Al-Ittihad last year. Salah has been linked as a crown jewel for Saudi Arabia's attempt to become a reference in world football. However, Salah declined to move to Saudi Arabia and is currently the highest-paid player at Liverpool, with a salary around 350,000 GBP per week.

Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad are ready to make another huge bid to sign Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah this summer.

Al Ittihad is preparing the biggest transfer of any Saudi club so far, according to English media Mirror and Daily Mail. Salah has a contract until the summer of 2025 and it was not planned for him to leave Liverpool, but Mirror writes that he will leave if the mentioned offer really comes because it is too good for Liverpool to refuse.

Mohamed Salah has already agreed to a transfer away from Liverpool and will leave Anfield this summer. Salah was the subject of some huge offers from the Saudi Pro League during the summer transfer window of 2023. Al-Ittihad had a massive offer of €175 million rejected by Liverpool in the closing days of the summer. But it has been widely reported that Al-Ittihad and other Saudi sides will return to make a new bid in 2024. And Enrique believes this summer Salah will leave Liverpool. Given Salah will be 32 this summer, it is widely believed that Liverpool will consider a sale at the end of the season. Salah joined Liverpool from Roma for a bargain €38m in 2017 and has since gone on to become one of the club’s greatest players of all time. He has scored 209 goals in 342 games for Liverpool, leading the club to the Premier League and Champions League titles. He has won three Premier League Golden Boots and was Premier League Player of the Year in 2017-18.
