Mohamed Salah Transfer from Liverpool to Al Ettifaq

Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, is prepared to risk the wrath of his old club’s supporters by landing Mo Salah on a free transfer for Al Ettifaq. Al Ettifaq, a Saudi Pro League side, are not one of the ‘big four’, but the Liverpool connection makes them a major player in the Salah transfer saga. CaughtOffside sources believe Al-Ettifaq are the front runners and are planning to sign Mo Salah without paying a fee at the end of the season, when his contract with Liverpool expires.

According to reports from Egypt, Al-Ettifaq is planning to acquire Mohamed Salah without a transfer fee at the conclusion of the season when his contract with Liverpool comes to an end. The club has reportedly communicated with Ahmed Sayed Zizo, another transfer target, about their plans to bring Salah on board. Remarkably, Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq has become a potential destination for Salah, despite continuing interest from other Saudi clubs such as Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal. Previously, Al-Ittihad had a £150 million offer for Salah turned down, but Al-Ettifaq's strategy involves signing him for free. The Egyptian news source Dostor conveyed that Al-Ettifaq is preparing to make an official offer to secure Salah's transfer. Nonetheless, it is suggested that Salah might still lean towards remaining in Europe if he cannot agree on a contract extension with Liverpool.
