Mladen Devetak is close to a permanent transfer to Rijeka in Croatia. Despite participating in part of the preseason with Palermo, he is not in the plans of the coach and the club, which is looking for a solution abroad. This would be his second experience in Croatia after last year's loan spell at NK Istra.
