M. Oršić Transfer to Paphos
Sportske Novosti reports on Mislav Oršić's impending transfer to Cypriot club Pafos. Mislav Oršić is close to signing for Cypriot club Pafos, where he will be joined by two well-known teammates. Interestingly, his captain will be a former rival from the biggest Croatian derby.
Index.hr has reported that Mislav Oršić may transfer to Pafos in the Cypriot league. Oršić was recently observed attending a Cypriot league match between Pafos and Paralimni. Pafos, which is a club owned by Russians, has shown interest in signing Oršić. However, the transfer process is currently on hold as the club has reservations about Oršić's physical fitness. They plan to evaluate him over several days to confirm he is in good condition. If Oršić meets all the necessary criteria, he will proceed to sign a contract. The club is particularly wary of the condition of his knee following a significant cruciate ligament injury.
Sportske novosti received confirmation that Mislav Oršić is on the verge of transferring to Pafos.
Mislav Oršić, a Croatian winger, was observed watching the Pafos match from the stands. According to Protathlima, a Cypriot media outlet, it is only a matter of time before Oršić's transfer to Pafos is finalized. The media emphasized that Oršić could become an essential part of Pafos' future plans. The club is currently at the top of the Cypriot league and has qualified for the Conference League playoffs. Oršić, who is presently without a club following the termination of his contract with Trabzonspor this winter, has been associated with several clubs including Dinamo, Rijeka, Ljubljana's Olimpija, and Polish side Rakow. Nevertheless, it appears he will continue his career at Pafos, where he will join fellow Croatian players Ivica Ivušić and Ivan Šunjić if the deal is completed.
