M. Daku leaving Rubin Kazan?
Former Rubin Kazan captain, Andrey Fedorov, expressed his views on Mirlind Daku's career prospects, indicating that Daku might be allowed to leave if a good offer arises, potentially joining a top club in the Russian Premier League (RPL). Fedorov cited examples such as Guararapa at CSKA and Sobolev at Zenit. He also noted that Lokomotiv lacks a prominent striker and suggested that Spartak might release Nicholson, implying that Daku could serve as a stronger replacement. According to Fedorov, Rubin's decision will hinge on the price, as reported by Metaratings.
Rubin Kazan's sporting director, Konstantin Dzyuba, confirmed interest in forward Mirlind Daku during the summer transfer window, but he stayed with the club. Dzyuba hopes Daku will remain with Rubin Kazan through the winter, despite potential interest from other clubs. Daku's contract runs until summer 2026, and his market value is around €6 million.
