The head coach of Rubin Kazan, Rashid Rakhimov, discussed the potential departure of Albanian national team forward Mirlind Daku from the Kazan club. Rakhimov recognized Daku's talent and admitted the challenges involved in retaining such a player. He mentioned that they have an agreement for Daku to continue playing for Rubin until the summer, but noted that the situation could change afterwards. Daku's current contract with Rubin extends until the summer of 2026, and according to Transfermarkt, the 27-year-old player's market value stands at €7 million.

Rubin Kazan's sporting director, Konstantin Dzyuba, confirmed interest in forward Mirlind Daku during the summer transfer window, but he stayed with the club. Dzyuba hopes Daku will remain with Rubin Kazan through the winter, despite potential interest from other clubs. Daku's contract runs until summer 2026, and his market value is around €6 million.
