OGC Nice is interested in acquiring Mike Trésor. The player is currently under contract with Burnley until June 2028. The negotiations have been advancing well, with only a few details left to be settled between the player and OGC Nice. The club hopes to finalize the deal before the transfer window closes at 23:00 on Friday.
Burnley signed Mike Trésor from KRC Genk by activating an 18 million euro purchase option. Despite this, Trésor is now set for a surprising new challenge as Nice wants to sign him on loan with a purchase option. Trésor has a contract with Burnley until 2028 and a market value of 12 million euros.
Mike Trésor, currently under contract with Burnley until June 2028, is being sought after by OGC Nice. The Belgian left winger, who is right-footed and stands 1.72m tall, arrived at Burnley in September 2023 before being loaned out to Genk. Having returned to England this summer, Trésor could be loaned out again. The various parties need to reach an agreement in the coming days.
