Mihajlo Cvetković Transfer from Čukarički to Malmö FF
Tuttomercato reports on Mihailo Cvetkovic's near transfer to Malmo in Sweden, which fell through due to salary disagreements. Mihailo Cvetkovic was very close to transferring to Malmo in Sweden, but an agreement on the salary was not reached. The requested salary was around 240,000 euros per season, and discussions took place in Sweden between the player, his entourage, and the club's management.
Mihajlo Cvetkovic was on the verge of signing with Malmö, with Cukaricki agreeing to a 3.5 million Euro transfer fee and a share of future sales. Cvetkovic traveled to Sweden for a medical check and to watch a Malmö game. Nevertheless, he returned to his country without signing due to financial disagreements and his dissatisfaction with the city.
Mihajlo Cvetković visited Sweden to learn about Malme's history and conditions. There were discussions with the club's scout in Serbia. Čukarički was set to make the biggest transfer in its history by selling Cvetković for three million euros. However, the transfer failed as Cvetković was not satisfied with the club's offer or the city.
Vladimir Matijašević revealed that Cvetković is set to leave Čukarički, with his career likely to continue outside Serbia. Mozzart sport reported that the team interested in signing him is Malme from Sweden. The head of scouting from Malme has already traveled to Belgrade to discuss the potential transfer with the young player's parents. They have expressed willingness to offer three million euros for Cvetković. However, Čukarički is reluctant to sell their talented player for this amount and is firm on a transfer fee of five million euros. Should Malme agree to this demand, it would mark the highest transfer fee they have ever committed to, surpassing their previous record spent on Sead Hakšabanović from Celtic.
