Mihajlo Cvetković, an 18-year-old forward from Čukarički, is continually linked with Crvena Zvezda. Last summer, there were negotiations, and a 2,000,000 EUR offer was reportedly made to Čukarički, but it was rejected. Zvezdan Terzić, the general director of Crvena zvezda, indicated that Mihajlo Cvetković is the only player from the Serbian Superliga who could enhance the Crvena zvezda team. Terzić remarked that Cvetković is the best young center-forward in Serbia and fits perfectly into their strategy to rejuvenate the team. He noted that Cvetković would have the chance to play alongside young talents such as Kostov, Andrija Maksimović, Avdić, and Veljko Milosavljević. Terzić conveyed a strong belief in Cvetković's potential, although he clarified that there are currently no ongoing negotiations. He also mentioned that last summer, Cvetković was close to joining Crvena zvezda, but the transfer did not come to fruition.
