Fluminense is contemplating a swap deal involving David Terans, a 30-year-old attacking midfielder, with Athletico-PR to secure Agustin Canobbio. Terans, who has a contract with Fluminense until the end of 2026, had a successful period at Athletico-PR from 2021 to 2023. During his time there, he won the CONMEBOL Sudamericana and reached the Libertadores final in 2022, which is considered a positive factor in the negotiation. Fluminense, aiming to strengthen their squad for the 2025 season, began discussions with Canobbio's representatives after their coach, Mano Menezes, gave his approval.
