Michele Šego has returned to HNK Hajduk after two and a half years, following an agreement between HNK Hajduk and NK Varaždin regarding his transfer. Šego has signed a contract with Hajduk that will last until the summer of 2028, and he will reclaim his number 15 jersey. The director of football operations, Francois Vitali, noted that Šego has the potential to enhance the team's offensive segment, citing his experience in the domestic league and his familiarity with Hajduk's identity and goals. Šego conveyed his readiness to prove himself anew, emphasizing the growth and experience he gained during his time away from Hajduk.
If Varaždin sells Michele Šego to another club, they would still seek two million euros, with Hajduk receiving 800,000 euros due to their 40% future transfer clause.
