Michael Venturi Transfer from Cosenza to Salernitana
Salernitana's sporting director, Marco Valentini, made an attempt to sign Michael Venturi from Cosenza on the final day of the transfer window. The club sought an agreement for a permanent transfer, but ultimately, Salernitana did not meet Cosenza's financial demands. The deal would have involved approximately 3 million euros, including the player's salary, with a contract extending to June 2027. This amount was considered excessive given the current standings of the clubs. Nevertheless, there is a verbal agreement with Venturi's agent to revisit the potential transfer at the end of the season, provided Salernitana maintains its league position.
The primary target for defense is Venturi from Cosenza. The Calabrian club is asking for 700,000 euros for a permanent transfer and has rejected the idea of a paid loan.
Salernitana is insisting on acquiring Michael Venturi. The offer from the Campania club is approximately 400,000 euros, but Cosenza is reportedly asking for almost double, around 700,000 to 800,000 euros.
Michael Venturi, born in 1999, is favored by Salernitana. However, Cosenza is showing reluctance to sell him, especially to a direct rival for survival, particularly after Michele Camporese's departure to Milan Futuro. The interest in Venturi arises as Salernitana is undergoing a significant squad overhaul under their new coach, Roberto Breda, who is aiming for salvation in the league. According to Tuttosalernitana, Salernitana might consider including players from their ongoing discussions with Hellas Verona, potentially involving Yahya Kallon and Jayden Braaf, to facilitate Venturi's transfer.
