Southampton Football Club has confirmed the completion of the loan acquisition of Maxwel Cornet from West Ham United. The striker finalized the transfer to St Mary's, strengthening Russell Martin's squad ahead of the closing of the summer transfer window.

Maxwel Cornet is not considered part of Julen Lopetegui's plans at West Ham United.
