Matteo Schablas has signed a long-term contract with FK Austria Wien, valid until 2028. Initially, he will be playing as a cooperation player at SV Stripfing. Austria Wien's Sporting Director, Manuel Ortlechner, stated that they have been observing Schablas for a long time and his role as a left-back makes the transfer very sensible for them.

FK Austria Wien is close to signing Matteo Schablas. The 19-year-old was recently tested in training with SV Stripfing and made a good impression. Previously, in summer 2023, Schablas almost joined the Viennese club but opted for Red Bull instead. If the transfer is completed, Schablas is expected to initially play as a cooperation player in the 2nd league for Stripfing.
