Mats Rots is set to join Heracles Almelo on loan for the remainder of the season. The 18-year-old left-back remains under contract with FC Twente until the summer of 2027. He is scheduled to join training in Almelo on Friday. Rots is anticipated to enhance the quality of Heracles Almelo's left-back position, following Ruben Roosken's move to Huddersfield Town. Initially, Heracles attempted to re-sign Fredrik Oppegaard, but the Norwegian player reportedly declined another loan opportunity.
