Mats Pannewig Transfer from VfL Bochum 1848 to Preußen Münster
Preußen Münster has expressed interest in Bochum's Mats Pannewig as a potential loan candidate until the end of the season. Pannewig, who is in need of more match practice, is highly regarded at Bochum but has only made six brief appearances this season. Bochum is willing to consider a loan move only if they can secure a strong replacement for their midfield. Pannewig's contract with Bochum was recently extended until 2026. The winter transfer window remains open until January 31, allowing for potential developments. Preußen's interest is part of their search for a central midfielder with offensive capabilities. Despite Borussia Dortmund's U23 team showing interest last summer, Preußen continues to be an active contender. Pannewig, who previously enjoyed a successful loan spell at SC Wiedenbrück, is being represented by the same agency as Florian Pick, another player on Preußen's radar. Preußen's coach Sascha Hildmann has indicated a willingness to remain patient during the transfer window, suggesting that opportunities may present themselves before the deadline.
