Mats Facklam, a 28-year-old striker, has been signed by Greifswalder FC. He impressed during a trial at the club and has been given a one-year contract. Facklam, who was born in Hamburg, has previously played for SV Eichede, Sportfreunde Lotte, Eintracht Norderstedt, Teutonia Ottensen, and VfB Lübeck. He has had injury problems in the past but is now healthy and looking to regain full fitness.
