Mats Facklam is leaving Greifswalder FC immediately. After intensive discussions about the player's future, both sides mutually agreed to terminate the contract. The 28-year-old striker joined GFC in September and made six official match appearances since then. The next day, the West-Regionalligist Sportfreunde Lotte announced the signing of the striker. "With Mats and his size, we gain an additional new component in our game," said Sportfreunde coach Fabian Lübbers.
