Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli have set their sights on Mathys Tel as a potential transfer target. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Al-Ahli have been considering Tel over the past 48 hours, identifying him as a top priority for Matthias Jaissle. Despite this interest, Tel is deemed the most challenging of their targets to acquire. The 19-year-old, who transferred to Bayern Munich from Rennes in 2022 for an estimated €20 million, is reportedly eager to depart from the Bundesliga champions due to insufficient playing time. Bayern Munich are open to the possibility of allowing Tel to leave on loan, and several Premier League clubs, such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Tottenham, have expressed interest in him. Al-Ahli, however, are confronted with significant competition and logistical hurdles in their pursuit of Tel, as Bayern Munich are open to various loan arrangements, including a straightforward loan, a loan with an option to buy, or a loan with an obligation to purchase.
