Mathis Amougou, an 18-year-old French U19 international, is currently in a contract negotiation impasse with AS Saint-Étienne. The club, following the strategy set by its new management Kilmer Sports Ventures (KSV), aims to secure Amougou with a long-term contract, similar to the four-year contracts (plus an optional fifth year) recently signed by other young talents at the club.
