Saint-Étienne recently turned down a 13 million euro offer from Bayer Leverkusen for Mathis Amougou. The club is reportedly looking for a higher fee, possibly more than 15 million euros. Amougou, a 19-year-old midfielder with 16 appearances in all competitions this season, is also drawing attention from Chelsea. The English club is contemplating a move for Amougou during the winter transfer window and plans to loan him to Strasbourg, which is also under the ownership of BlueCo, if the transfer is successful.
