Mateusz Młyński Transfer from Wisła Kraków to Polonia Warszawa

Mateusz Młyński has transferred to a new club. Polonia Warszawa confirmed the transfer of the 24-year-old. It was reported that the left winger was not included in coach Mariusz Jop's plans for the remainder of the current season, which led to a mutual agreement to terminate his contract. As a result, Młyński was allowed to seek a new team, and Polonia Warszawa expedited the process. The 24-year-old joined the 'Czarnych Koszul' on a free transfer, signing a contract that is valid until December 31, 2026, with an option for extension.

Mateusz Młyński has mutually terminated his contract with Wisła Kraków, which was originally valid until June 30, 2025. He is now free to seek a new club. Polonia Warszawa, a rival of Wisła Kraków in the I liga, has expressed interest in signing him. This interest emerged after Młyński was relegated to the reserves since August 8, 2024. The player is eager to find a new club quickly.

Wisła Kraków is reportedly looking to part ways with Mateusz Młyński, with Polonia Warszawa expressing interest in acquiring the player, according to Samuel Szczygielski from Meczyki.pl. The 24-year-old winger, who has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 14 matches for Wisła Kraków's third-tier team, is expected to leave on a permanent transfer when his contract ends in June, as stated by Wisła's sporting director Vullnet Basha. Młyński, having struggled for game time with only three appearances for Wisła's first team, is anticipated to make a move during the winter transfer window. Polonia Warszawa, currently eighth in the league and aiming for promotion to the Ekstraklasa, is considered a potential destination for the Gdynia-born player.
