Mateusz Czyżycki Transfer from Korona Kielce to Odra Opole
Mateusz Czyżycki terminated his contract with Korona Kielce and joined Odra Opole on a free transfer. Both parties signed a contract until June 30, 2025, with an option to extend for another eighteen months. Czyżycki had previously played for Odra Opole. The team, under coach Jarosław Skrobacz, is currently in fourteenth place in the league table.
Korona Kielce and Mateusz Czyżycki mutually agreed to terminate his contract. With the freedom to find a new club, Czyżycki is set to continue his career at Odra Opole, according to reports from Kamil Bętkowski. Czyżycki, who transferred to Korona Kielce in the summer of 2023 from GKS Tychy, initially received regular playtime but was later sidelined due to a serious Achilles tendon injury. This injury resulted in a prolonged absence throughout the autumn round following his surgery. As a result, both parties decided to part ways after just eighteen appearances, permitting Czyżycki to negotiate with Odra Opole, a team currently ranked fourteenth in the league under the direction of coach Jarosław Skrobacz.
