Mateusz Chmarek has been loaned to Olimpia Grudziądz until the end of the current season. The loan decision was made during the winter transfer window to provide him with more opportunities for regular play, as he had only accumulated just over 200 minutes for Ruch Chorzów this season. Chmarek, a 21-year-old offensive midfielder, joined Olimpia Grudziądz, a team currently ranked 13th in the league table, as their third acquisition during the break between rounds. Previously, he had played for Rozwoju Katowice, Zagłębie Lubin, Górnik Zabrze, and had a brief period with GKS Jastrzębie before moving to Ruch Chorzów last summer. Olimpia Grudziądz, under the management of coach Grzegorz Niciński, has also recently added Paweł Koncewicz-Żyłka and Bartosz Guzdek to their squad.
