Mateus Vital Transfer from Cruzeiro to Necaxa

The transfer negotiations between Cruzeiro and Necaxa for the player Mateus Vital were canceled because the player did not attend to obtain the work visa for Mexico. Vital was approved by Necaxa's coach Nicolás Larcamón and was expected to be a key player for the team's 2025 squad.

Matheus Vital is set to continue his football career in Mexico following the successful conclusion of negotiations for his transfer to Necaxa. The advanced discussions between Necaxa and Cruzeiro resulted in an agreement for the transfer of the 26-year-old Brazilian winger. It was reported that Vital has committed to a three-year contract with the Mexican team. This move will be his third in a different country, having previously played in Greece and his home country, Brazil. During this season, he appeared 31 times for Cruzeiro, where he scored two goals and provided one assist over more than 1,100 minutes of play.

Journalist César Luis Merlo has reported that Brazilian midfielder Mateus Vital is in the process of transferring from Cruzeiro to Necaxa. Vital, who was on loan at Panathinaikos from Corinthians for the 2021-2022 season, is currently contracted with Cruzeiro until December 2025. This season, he has participated in 31 matches, scored two goals, and provided one assist over more than 1,100 minutes of play. It has been stated that both Vital and Cruzeiro are in advanced talks with the Mexican club Necaxa to finalize his transfer. The only detail disclosed about the deal is that Vital has been offered a three-year contract.
