Mateo Silvetti Transfer from Newell's Old Boys to Inter Miami
Mateo Silvetti, a promising 19-year-old right winger from Newell's Old Boys, is nearing a transfer to Inter Miami, potentially joining forces with Lionel Messi. Silvetti, who has netted four goals in 25 matches for Newell's and played for Argentina's U-20 national team, remains contracted with Newell's until the season's end. Talks are underway between Newell's and Inter Miami, with the latter proposing four million dollars for 80% of Silvetti's rights. Earlier, Inter Milan's bid to sign Silvetti fell through, as Newell's had set his valuation at 10 million euros. Should the move to Inter Miami go through, Newell's plans to retain Silvetti until June or December, ensuring his continued contribution to the team, which currently sits twelfth in Zone A of the Apertura tournament.
