Roma has shown interest in Mateo Retegui in past weeks as they seek a forward to alternate with their new acquisition, Artem Dovbyk.

Retegui from Genoa is one of the names Roma is interested in.

Mateo Retegui seems to have become a concrete target for Roma. The club is looking for a new striker and has identified the Italo-Argentine from Genoa as the right fit for Daniele De Rossi's needs. To convince Genoa to part with the striker, who arrived a year ago from Boca Juniors, at least 30 million euros will be needed. Roma might fund this by selling Tammy Abraham.
