Matej Mitrović left Rijeka as a free agent and quickly found a new engagement. The experienced 30-year-old defender has become a new player for Qatari club Al-Ahli, signing a one-year contract.
Matej Mitrović, a former Croatian international defender with 12 caps, has signed a one-year contract with Qatari club Al-Ahli. He joins as a free agent after his contract with Rijeka expired, where he spent the last two seasons. Al-Ahli finished last season in tenth place out of 12 teams in the Qatari league.
