Marko Ilić has departed Crvena zvezda to pursue his career with Belgian club Kortrijk. He originally joined Crvena zvezda from the MLS team Colorado Rapids at the start of the current season. Ilić's career began at Vojvodina, and he later went on loans to Beočin and Proleter. After spending two years and making 60 appearances for Voždovac, he moved abroad to join Kortrijk in 2020. He played 70 matches for them before spending a year at Colorado. Upon his return, Ilić was instrumental in key matches for Crvena zvezda in the Champions League qualifiers and the Serbian SuperLiga. He made his international debut against Jamaica.
