Mark Travers Transfer from AFC Bournemouth to Middlesbrough

Mark Travers has joined Middlesbrough on loan from Bournemouth for the remainder of the season. He has participated in five matches during the current Premier League season with Bournemouth. Middlesbrough officially announced his arrival on Wednesday. Travers is an international player representing the Republic of Ireland. At 25 years old, the goalkeeper is the fourth player to join Middlesbrough this month, following the permanent acquisitions of Morgan Whittaker and George Edmundson, and the loan signing of Ryan Giles. Middlesbrough has been experiencing a goalkeeper crisis this season due to injuries to both Seny Dieng and Sol Brynn, which resulted in Australian Tom Glover stepping in as the starting goalkeeper for the past seven matches since Brynn's injury on Boxing Day.
