Marius Ștefănescu leaving FCSB?
Sport.ro reports on the potential player exchange involving Marius Ștefănescu and CS Universitatea Craiova. Marius Ștefănescu, valued at 1.4 million euros, is also a potential part of the player exchange with CS Universitatea Craiova. He is not in the current plans at FCSB.
According to Sport.ro, there is a possibility that Marius Ștefănescu might return to Sepsi OSK from FCSB. Ștefănescu, who made the switch to FCSB last summer for 1.3 million euros from Sepsi OSK, could be making his way back to his previous club. Sepsi's sporting director, Attila Hadnagy, has confirmed the club's interest in reacquiring Ștefănescu, but mentioned that the 700,000 euros price tag set by Gigi Becali is more than the club can afford. Hadnagy indicated that they are keen on renegotiating the transfer fee. Ștefănescu was previously a key figure for Sepsi, and his return would be advantageous. Nevertheless, there is concern over his recent stint at FCSB, where he has been relegated to an unused substitute.
Gigi Becali, the owner of FCSB, is ready to sell Marius Ștefănescu if he receives an offer of 700,000 EUR. Ștefănescu was transferred to FCSB from Sepsi for 1.3 million EUR. Becali is not convinced by Ștefănescu's performances, who played 42 matches mostly as a substitute this season.
Marius Ștefănescu could return to Sepsi OSK after an unsuccessful season at FCSB. Laszlo Dioszegi, the owner of Sepsi, expressed openness to the player's return if Ștefănescu prefers it. However, no official discussions have taken place yet, and the decision depends on FCSB's final decision, as announced by their owner Gigi Becali. Becali plans a significant team overhaul in the summer, and it's uncertain what decision will be made regarding Ștefănescu.
Gigi Becali expressed dissatisfaction with Marius Ștefănescu's performance, indicating a 'clean-up' at FCSB and the possibility of letting some players go in the next transfer window.
