Marios Pourzitidis Transfer from Slovan Liberec to Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih
Kryvbas had shown interest in acquiring the 25-year-old Greek defender Marios Pourzitidis. Nevertheless, he declined the opportunity to transfer to Ukraine, citing the ongoing war as his reason. It was Yuriy Vernydub, the head coach, who had personally pushed for Pourzitidis' signing, but the player did not agree to the transfer. Pourzitidis remains open to reconsidering Kryvbas' offer closer to the summer, when he is set to become a free agent. Meanwhile, Pourzitidis has taken a loan move from Slovan Liberec to Dukla Prague, where he will play for the remainder of the season. This season, he has appeared in 10 league matches and scored once for Slovan, in addition to participating in one Czech Cup match. Kryvbas continues to search for a center-back, with a focus on the Balkan market.
