Marin Pongracic Transfer from Fiorentina to Napoli

Napoli's sporting director Giovanni Manna requested Marin Pongracic on loan from Fiorentina, but Fiorentina immediately closed off this possibility.

Napoli is interested in acquiring Marin Pongračić on loan from Fiorentina, as reported by transfer expert Nicolo Schira. Antonio Conte sees him as an ideal addition to the defensive positions. Fiorentina prefers to sell him rather than loan him, due to dissatisfaction with his performance since his arrival last summer from Lecce for 15 million euros.

Napoli inquired about Marin Pongracic, who joined Fiorentina from Lecce for 15 million euros in the summer. Despite Pongracic's limited playtime due to injuries and lack of chemistry with Palladino, Fiorentina firmly rejected Napoli's interest, stating that the Croatian will not be moved either on loan or permanently this season.

Napoli has conducted an inquiry for Croatian Marin Pongracic, a former Lecce player born in 1997, following the failure to secure Juventus' Danilo, who decided to return to Brazil.

Marin Pongračić, who became part of Fiorentina in July 2024 for a transfer fee of 15 million euros, ranking as the 12th most expensive player in the club's history, has reportedly been offered to Napoli, as per information from football insider Nicolo Schira. The transfer is speculated to potentially be a loan deal, considering that Pongračić recently committed to a contract with Fiorentina until 2029. His playing time has been limited due to injuries, resulting in only seven appearances (379 minutes) in the first part of the season. The move is anticipated to possibly occur during the winter transfer window.
