Marco Verratti Transfer from Al Arabi to Inter

Inter Milan is contemplating the possibility of bringing Marco Verratti back to European football in January. Verratti, who is currently with Al-Arabi in Qatar, is reportedly dissatisfied with his experience there and is keen on returning to Italy, despite never having played in Serie A. The transfer is feasible only if the transfer fee remains minimal or if Verratti's contract is terminated. Furthermore, Verratti would need to consent to a substantial salary reduction, not exceeding one-sixth of his current earnings of 30 million euros per year. This was reported by the Spanish newspaper Marca.

Marco Verratti, who is currently with Al-Arabi in Qatar, is reportedly considering a return to Europe. Initially, he had decided to avoid European clubs to not face PSG, but it seems his perspective has shifted. According to Marca, Inter Milan could be a potential destination for Verratti. However, his current net salary of 30 million EUR might pose a significant challenge for any prospective transfer. Verratti has never played in Serie A, which makes Inter an appealing option. A few months ago, there were also rumors linking him to Barcelona. Verratti continues to be active, having participated in 12 matches across various competitions in Qatar this season.

Verratti is strongly linked as a potential reinforcement for Inter in the winter. His high salary of 30 million net is a significant obstacle, but a move would mark his Serie A debut at 32 years old.

Marco Verratti transferred to Al Arabi from Paris Saint Germain in the summer of 2023 for approximately 45 million euros. He has not played in Serie A before, and there is speculation about a potential move to Inter, especially if Calhanoglu leaves. Verratti's current salary in Dubai is substantial, and any move to Inter would likely involve a reduced salary.

Marco Verratti, a key player for the Italian national team, is regarded as the most talked-about candidate to replace Hakan Calhanoglu at Inter. Although he does not align with Oaktree's philosophy, Verratti is viewed as the right man to fill Calhanoglu's role. It is believed that Verratti would be satisfied with a salary of 4 million EUR per year. There is speculation that he might resolve his contract with Al Arabi and join Inter in January to learn the team's tactics and assist coach Inzaghi.
