Marcel Mansfeld Transfer from Miedź Legnica to Odra Opole

Marcel Mansfeld has been loaned from Miedź Legnica to Odra Opole for the duration of the current season. The announcement did not specify any purchase option. In addition, Miedź Legnica has extended Mansfeld's contract until June 30, 2027. Marcel Mansfeld, a 23-year-old striker, has a history of training with clubs such as 1.FSV Mainz 05, SV Darmstadt 98, 1.FC Kaiserslautern, FC Gießen, and Fortuna Düsseldorf, mainly playing in the reserves. He joined Miedź Legnica last year and managed to score nine goals in 23 matches during his first season, and has scored five goals with one assist in 17 matches this season.

Marcel Mansfeld is reportedly set to join Odra Opole on a six-month loan, according to Kamil Warzocha from Weszlo.com. Odra Opole is preparing for the upcoming Ekstraklasa spring competitions, with the goal of maintaining their league status. Marcel Mansfeld has scored five goals and provided one assist in 19 appearances this season, following a previous season where he netted nine goals. His contract with Miedź Legnica is valid until June 30, 2026. The club from Opole, which is currently 14th in the league table, is striving to avoid relegation as they hold only a two-point advantage over the drop zone. Despite interest from other first-league teams, Odra Opole was reportedly the most decisive in securing Mansfeld's services. The 23-year-old forward, Mansfeld, is anticipated to enhance the team's attacking options under the guidance of coach Jarosław Skrobacz.
