Marc Richter remains part of Mainz 05 II. The 22-year-old, who played 67 Regionalliga games for the highest Mainz training team since January 2022 and was bid farewell after the just-concluded season, has extended his contract for two more years. Richter suffered a cruciate ligament tear shortly before the end of the season. Due to the severe injury of the offensive player, both sides agreed on his stay.
