Marc Guiu leaving Chelsea?

Marc Guiu, who was previously considered a wonderkid at Barcelona, transferred to Chelsea during the summer for a bargain price of €6 million, thanks to a release clause in his contract. However, he has found it challenging to make an impact at Chelsea, having missed the matchday squad for the last five Premier League games, although he did play for 29 minutes in a victory over Panathinaikos. According to the Spanish media, Guiu is believed to have no future at Chelsea, and it is suggested that remaining at Barcelona might have been a better decision for him. A loan move in January is almost certain, following considerations of a potential exit during the summer.

Enzo Maresca continues to try and sell a number of first-team players, including Marc Guiu.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca mentioned that if they have a chance to bring in a number nine who can help the team, they will try to sign him. Otherwise, they are okay with the current squad, which includes Marc Guiu.

Marc Guiu is also being considered as an alternative option if the transfer for Victor Osimhen does not materialize. Maresca has expressed admiration for him but noted his lack of goal-scoring.

Chelsea fans are calling for Marc Guiu to be loaned out after his significant miss in the Europa Conference League match against Servette. This was his second match for Chelsea and his first start since transferring from Barcelona in July. Chelsea paid six million euros for him with a five-year contract.

Chelsea have already signed striker Marc Guiu from Barcelona this summer. The teenager admitted he may be loaned out for the 2024/25 season, and his short-term future has not yet been determined.

Recruited for 6 million euros from FC Barcelona, Marc Guiu could already leave Chelsea and join FC Séville on loan. Blocked by competition in the forward positions in London, the Spanish center-forward is tempted to seek playing time in his home country. He has expressed his wish to join FC Séville. At FC Séville, Guiu could have a significant role. According to Mundo Deportivo, Sevilla's management could offer responsibilities to the player trained at La Masia, in case of the departure of Youssef En-Nesyri whose future is uncertain. The promising 18-year-old striker could therefore toughen up for another season in La Liga before returning to the Premier League next summer.
