Manfred Ugalde Transfer from Spartak Moskva to Paris Saint Germain
PSG is keeping a close eye on Manfred Ugalde for the January transfer window. This move aligns with a pattern of players transitioning from the Russian league to PSG, as demonstrated by Leandro Paredes and Matvey Safonov in previous transfers. Spartak Moscow, on the other hand, is eager to keep Ugalde and has started negotiations to propose a more attractive contract extension. Ugalde, who recently scored an impressive four goals in a derby against Lokomotiv Moscow, has also drawn interest from clubs such as Monaco, although they eventually decided to pursue Mika Biereth instead. The 22-year-old Costa Rican striker, who is presently the leading scorer in the Russian Premier League with 15 goals in 18 matches, is now valued significantly higher than the 12 million euros Spartak spent to acquire him from Twente.
