19-year-old Mamadou Sarr is set to join Chelsea in the summer. Chelsea have reached a pre-agreement to sign him, agreeing on a €14 million fee. Italian journalist Nicolo Schira mentioned that the deal is 'close' to being finalized.

Mamadou Sarr, a central defender, was acquired for 10 million euros last summer from Olympique Lyonnais and has been excelling at Strasbourg. His impressive performances have caught the attention of Chelsea's leadership. RMC radio reported that Strasbourg and Chelsea, both under the ownership of BlueCo, are in advanced discussions regarding the transfer of the former Lyon player for an estimated 20 million euros. Despite the imminent transfer, Sarr will continue at Strasbourg on loan until the conclusion of the 2024-2025 season, as he has an agreement in place for a future long-term contract with Chelsea.
