Maksym Czekala Transfer from Lech Poznań II to Zagłębie Lubin
Maksym Czekała, a 20-year-old footballer, departed from Lech Poznań following the expiration of his contract at the end of the previous year. He is set to continue his career with the Zagłębie Lubin reserve team. The transfer will be finalized with a contract that extends until June 30, 2026, and includes an option for a twelve-month extension. Czekała has already participated in training sessions and friendly matches with the Zagłębie reserves, where he has impressed the coaching staff. Having developed at Lech Poznań from an early age, Czekała progressed through the ranks and even attracted the attention of the first team, leading to his call-up for a winter training camp in Turkey in 2022. Although he did not debut for the first team, he became a crucial player for the Lech reserves, amassing 56 matches and scoring six goals. Despite interest from first and second league teams, Zagłębie Lubin demonstrated concrete interest, and Czekała's performances in training and friendly matches have earned him a position with their reserve team.
