L. Modrić Transfer from Real Madrid to Al Shabab

Luka Modric is slowly starting to leave his place in the Real Madrid midfield. At 38 years old, the Croatian midfielder is still a very high-performing player and can therefore still provide great services to his club. But as his contract comes to an end at the end of the season, negotiations have begun for an extension. If this does not succeed, his compatriot Ivan Rakitic would like to see him arrive in Saudi Arabia. In an interview for Arab News, the former FC Barcelona midfielder explained that he will try to convince Modric to join him. "If Modrić comes to Saudi Arabia and does not sign for Al Shabab, he will have problems with me (laughs). He's like a brother to me. If he chooses Saudi Arabia, it will be wonderful. I would call him in two minutes and do everything to get him to join Al Shabab. But if he decides to spend another year in Madrid, we will still enjoy it a little bit, that would also be amazing", he said.

Luka Modrić has been linked with several clubs in Europe, Asia, and America for a few months now, but his friend Ivan Rakitić has now invited him to join him at Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia. Rakitić has stated that he would do everything in his power to bring Modrić to Al Shabab, and that it would be 'incredible' if he decided to move.
