Luka Gugeshashvili Transfer from Panserraikos to PAOK

Luka Gugesashvili will move to PAOK next summer as officially announced by the club. His transfer to PAOK is seen as a step to establish himself in a bigger Greek team before moving to a major league. Gugesashvili is confident in his abilities and believes he will move to the Premier League in 1-2 years.

Luka Gugeshashvili, a 25-year-old international goalkeeper for Georgia, has signed a three-year contract with PAOK. He is expected to join the team in the summer after the current season ends. PAOK has committed to paying a compensation of €1 million to Panserraikos, his current club. This transfer was reported by Georgian media and confirmed by Dima Shariqadze on Twitter.

Luka Gugesashvili is reportedly in advanced negotiations with PAOK, with the transfer nearing completion. PAOK is said to be keen on investing in the Georgian goalkeeper, who is currently playing for Panserraikos. Sources indicate that the deal is not contingent on developments concerning Dominik Kotarski in the summer. It has been reported that the clubs have almost finalized an agreement on all terms except the financial ones, although the financial discrepancy is not substantial enough to threaten the transfer. According to reports, PAOK will pay Gugesashvili a total of 1.2 million euros for a two-year contract, and Panserraikos will receive a sum of 500,000 euros. Gugesashvili is under contract with Panserraikos until the summer of 2026.

PAOK is working towards completing their first transfer move for the summer, aiming to acquire the Georgian goalkeeper Luka Gugesashvili from Panserraikos. Discussions are in the final stages, although no definitive agreement exists yet. Gugesashvili has a contract with Panserraikos until June 2026 and has made 23 appearances in the Stoiximan Superleague this season, maintaining a clean sheet in 4 matches.
