Ludovit Reis leaving Hamburger SV?

Ludovit Reis could leave Hamburger SV for Belgium in the summer. According to 'Bild', the midfielder's side has already held talks with Champions League round of 16 team Club Brügge. Reis has a contract with HSV until 2026, and the club has not shown any intention to extend it. If HSV fails to secure promotion to the Bundesliga again, it may be difficult to keep the vice-captain.

According to BILD information, the Belgian top club FC Brügge is pursuing HSV star Ludovit Reis. There have already been discussions between the clubs.

Ludovit Reis addressed the rumors regarding his potential departure from Hamburger SV last summer. He revealed that numerous topics arose over the summer, and he considered them with his family immediately following the season. At 24 years old, Reis expressed his ambition to compete at the highest level while also acknowledging his affection for his current club, HSV. He informed his agent that they could explore transfer possibilities if any offers were presented. Reis had the opportunity to leave for a fixed fee ranging from five to seven million euros until mid-June, but no concrete options materialized. He remains optimistic about achieving promotion to the Bundesliga with HSV.

Ludovit Reis had been aiming for a move to the first league and even changed his agent to facilitate this.

Ludovit Reis could have left HSV by Saturday at 11:59 PM through a supplementary agreement. However, his exit price was between five and six million euros, which was too high after a season that did not go as desired due to injuries. There was no market for the midfielder at the asking price, but his stay beyond the summer is still not certain.
